ti&m receives PCI DSS certification

As part of their partnership (see press release from July 12, 2017), ti&m and MeaWallet have built a new platform for MeaWallet’s payment application suite, which will be hosted and operated by ti&m. The services that run on the platform allow financial institutions to digitalize their payment cards. This makes it possible for end customers to use their smartphone or smartwatch and a digital card to make in-store (NFC), online, or in-app purchases.

The platform has been in operation since November 2017. It has now been awarded Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Version 3.2 certification. This certifies both the platform and ti&m as the service provider as compliant with the stringent requirements of PCI DSS. The certification enables the continuation and expansion of cooperations with card schemes and is a trust seal for data security for customers using the platform.
