We have been digitalizing Switzerland with enthusiasm for innovation and technology for the past 20 years. Time to reflect on the past, and to take a look into the future.

550 employees at six locations

What began in 2005 with an idea and 27 employees is now one of the largest owner-managed IT companies in Switzerland with 550 employees at six locations in three countries. With the opening of the branch in Bern in 2008, we expanded our digital government business, adding branches in the financial centers of Frankfurt and Singapore in 2016 and 2019. In 2022, we opened our two newest locations in Basel and Düsseldorf.

We consistently adhere to our owner strategy and grow sustainably in economic terms: without acquisitions and mergers.

20 years of product development

User-friendly digitalization solutions

ti&m is more than just an IT service provider. We invest in in-house development and regularly launch new products on the market: the modular mobile and e-banking platform ti&m Banking in 2012, followed a year later by the multi-factor authentication solution ti&m Authentication. This was followed in 2018 by ti&m Online Identification, an identification and onboarding solution used by many banks. We later standardized our solution for core banking integrations and for open banking and, with ti&m Banking Integration and ti&m Open Banking, offer banks products to implement digitalization projects in the areas of open banking, multibanking, data-driven banking and AI with all common core banking systems.

Innovation through customer proximity

We are convinced that good ideas and the ability to efficiently implement projects are based on customer proximity. With a passion for new technologies, a deep understanding of the industries and innovative approaches, we have implemented quite a few projects together with our customers over the last 20 years. Many of our projects and solutions have even won awards: in 2019, VIA Strassenabgaben, an app for the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG), won the Master of Swiss Apps award, and last year Baloise's new mobile and e-banking system won gold at Best of Swiss Software.

Events, youth development and a unique culture

Swissness, courage to innovate, sustainable growth, talent, passion, respect and tolerance: these values have shaped ti&m for 20 years. For us, this also includes creating inspiring moments: When we combine art with IT at our art@work events, go wakeboarding, wakesurfing and sailing at our big summer party on Lake Zurich, treat ourselves to a break in the mountains on our ski weekend or give our employees the chance to deepen their professional interests with the ti&m Academy. Furthermore, we also regularly discuss tech and trends with our community of customers and IT enthusiasts during our Breakfast News and webinars.

Innovative ideas for the future

Digitalization will increasingly shape the economy and society in the coming years - and ti&m will help shape this future. In banking, open ecosystems, digital wallets and the tokenization of digital and physical assets will transform the industry, while the increasing adaptation of AI, new approaches to data processing and management or quantum computers, which offer completely new possibilities with their enormous computing power, will advance digitalization on many levels. With enthusiasm for new technologies, passion and courage, we embrace these developments, pour ideas into code, develop pioneering products and realize customer projects end-to-end. In doing so, we remain who we are: An independent, trustworthy technology partner for innovation and holistic digitalization products.

For 20 years, we have been combining art with IT at our art@work vernissages and creating new inspiring perspectives on digitalization.

Over 3,000 enthusiastic children at our hack an apps

During these free IT project weeks, we accompany children on their first steps in IT - this year with a special anniversary edition at the Parliament including a tour of the Parliament Building.

Over 100 Academy courses

Every year, we have over 1'000 participations during our more than 100 different courses at the ti&m Academy. We are delighted that so many employees take the opportunity to expand their knowledge every year.

(Almost) 20 years of ti&m Special

Tech, trends and transformation. For almost 20 years, we have been regularly reporting on current digitalization topics in our ti&m Special and giving opinion leaders across the industry and technology a voice.

Our ti&m Special began its career as a supplement in the industry magazine Swiss IT Magazine. Later it was published in cooperation with Computerworld and now it stands as an independent trade and customer magazine with a loyal readership.
