24 banks, one platform: ti&m implements mobile and e-banking for ESPRIT network
The first banks in the ESPRIT network are live with ti&m Banking. The new mobile and e-banking solution creates a shared digital foundation for the 24 participating banks while also allowing for customized solutions.
The new platform, which is based on the ti&m Banking product solution, gives the banks in the ESPRIT network a modern, future-proof foundation for their digital offerings. ESPRIT Netzwerk AG oversaw the overall coordination of the project and ensured close cooperation between all partners. The ESPRIT network gives the participating banks efficient access to a common platform, laying the groundwork for future digital development.
The project is based on the latest version of ti&m Banking. This offers additional product functions such as connection to Swiss Bankers, product opening, cash management, and bLink. It also incorporates individual requirements such as the integration of existing customer services and bank-specific topics. Technologically, the solution relies on ti&m Banking Integration and the Finnova Banking Adapter. This allows high-performance, independent use of data from the Finnova core banking system.
The project was launched in September 2024 following an extensive bidding process and consolidation phase. The deciding factors in choosing ti&m Banking were its favorable cost-benefit ratio and wide range of functions.
Challenging project successfully implemented
The many banks involved, the tight timeline, and the large scope of the project made implementing it a challenge. ESPRIT Netzwerk AG contributed decisively to the project’s success by orchestrating the entire partner and banking ecosystem and managing the overall project. Thanks to the close cooperation between ti&m, ESPRIT Netzwerk AG, the individual banks, and partners Swisscom and Finnova, the project was completed on schedule.
The go-live will take place in several waves: The first banks to migrate were WIR Bank, acrevis, AEK Thun, Spar- und Leihkasse Frutigen, Spar+Leihkasse Riggisberg, and Bank EEK at the beginning of November 2025. All other banks will migrate by the end of March 2026.
