Migrol AG operates more than 300 gas stations, 70 car washes, and 150 electric vehicle charging stations throughout Switzerland. The new app aims to bring this diversity together digitally and offer customers a platform that makes everyday life easier and more enjoyable. The previous app, which had been in use for over ten years, has been replaced with a solution that is completely new in terms of both technology and visual design. ti&m’s implementation created a modern, usercentric experience focused on simplicity, personalization, and digital customer loyalty.

Seamlessly networked in the Migrol ecosystem

At the heart of the app is a personalized dashboard that adapts dynamically to the user’s needs. Whether it’s mobility or energy, the app displays all content, promotions, and services on a customized basis. Users who have specifi ed fuel as a requirement can see current fuel prices, coupons, and location information at a glance. Those who have entered heating oil as a requirement will be notifi ed of low heating oil prices via the “Price Scout” and can order directly. Customers can register their Cumulus card directly in the app and collect points with every purchase, every wash, every liter of fuel. Playful elements such as daily games and collector’s passes with rewards ensure additional engagement and strengthen brand loyalty.

ti&m assumed overall responsibility for the frontend development using Flutter and integrated the app into Migrol’s existing master platform, which connects all digital channels. The app communicates with the backend systems via REST API interfaces, making it easy to add new features or partner offers. Deep links to sister apps such as the Migrolcard app or the MCharge app enable a seamless user experience across all services, from refueling to charging.

From onboarding to the personalized dashboard and offl ine functions, the Migrol app is designed for everyday use. Its clear information architecture and intuitive navigation make it easy and enjoyable to use. The app is available in German, French, Italian, and English and meets important accessibility standards. Location information, the latest available prices, and activated coupons can also be accessed offl ine, offering real added value when on the move.

A digital customer channel with a future

With the new Migrol app, Migrol AG has done more than implement a technical upgrade; it has created a central platform for digital customer management. The combination of useful functions, clear design, and playful elements ensures high usage and strengthens brand loyalty in the long term.

For Migrol, this means more footfall at gas stations and stores, higher customer satisfaction, and a consistent brand image across all digital touchpoints. For users, it means an app that truly makes everyday life easier when it comes to refueling, charging, heating, and saving.

Outstanding User Engagement

The Migrol App was awarded Silver at the Best of Swiss Apps 2025 for its impressive user engagement.
