In addition to Dr. Lukas Ruf and Dr. Matthias Stürmer, Andreas Berger joins ti&m as an advisory board member for the areas of e-government and cyber security within a few months. By expanding its e-government competence center, ti&m is responding to the rapidly growing business area and strengthening its market position for secure e-government solutions.

After graduating from the ETH as an electrical engineer, Andreas Berger worked for several years in various roles in the private sector, such as project manager at Swissair or CEO of a subsidiary of Orell Füssli specializing in security solutions and at Swissphone, a medium-sized industrial group of companies in the telecom and public safety sector. He later spent several years at RUAG, first as business unit head in the ICT/sensor business, then as CEO of the Defence Division/Division RUAG MRO, and most recently as CEO of the new RUAG MRO Holding group, which specializes in the military and civil security market.

Thomas Wüst, founder and CEO of ti&m: "The current geopolitical situation will lead to increased investments in national security. For IT service providers like ti&m, this creates exciting growth opportunities, but also new types of challenges in terms of technology choice. The expansion of IoT also exponentially increases cyber security risk, and with it the need for security solutions. With his vast entrepreneurial experience and broad network, Andreas will further develop ti&m in e-government and help us partner and build meaningful ecosystems."
